Jose and Moire Torres bring complementary expertise and a shared commitment to service to the Greater Houston brokerage

GREATER HOUSTON, TEXAS — October 12, 2026 — CENTURY 21 Tevas Real Estate announced its transition to CENTURY 21 Republic under the new ownership of Jose and Moire Torres, effective September 30, 2026. Serving clients throughout Greater Houston, with an office located in Pearland, the brokerage begins its next chapter with a focus on informed guidance, attentive client service, and strong support for its agents.

Co-owner and Broker Jose Torres and Co-owner, Office Manager, and REALTOR® Moire Torres combine financial and commercial real estate expertise with operational leadership, relationship building, and dependable follow-through.

Jose is a retired U.S. Navy veteran with 20 years of military service and more than 25 years of experience managing finance, real estate, and projects nationally and internationally. He holds an MBA and a Master of Finance from Tulane University and an undergraduate degree from Columbia University.

His real estate experience spans residential properties, commercial investments, land, farms, warehouses, storage facilities, manufactured housing communities, and RV parks. His strengths in research, financial analysis, and business planning help clients evaluate investment and commercial development opportunities that align with their long-term goals.

Moire brings a background in education, entrepreneurship, and public service to her leadership role. Before joining the brokerage’s leadership team, she spent nine years teaching in Alvin ISD, including seven as a physical education teacher and two as a kindergarten teacher. She holds a degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and a master’s degree in recreation program management from the University of North Texas.

Her experience includes owning and operating a mobile gaming franchise, leading a municipal parks and recreation division, and organizing international trips and tours as recreation director aboard the USS George Washington, where she and Jose met while he served in the Navy’s supply department. Through these roles, she developed the organization, adaptability, and people skills she now brings to supporting agents, guiding clients, and managing brokerage operations.

Community service has remained a constant throughout their lives. Moire volunteered as a command ombudsman, supporting military families. While living in Honduras, she organized neighborhood activities, taught at a bilingual school, and helped coordinate a major book drive to establish a school library.
